Terms of Service for "InboxCleaner"

These Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") set forth the terms and conditions for the use of the smartphone application "InboxCleaner" (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by taba (hereinafter referred to as the "Developer"). Users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

1. Basic Provisions (Scope of Application and Usage Environment)

These Terms shall apply to all relationships between the User and the Developer pertaining to the use of the Service.

• Preparation of Communication Environment: Users are responsible for providing the necessary communication equipment and bearing all communication charges required to use the Service (e.g., sending/receiving emails, downloading attachments).

• Integration with External Services: The Service utilizes services provided by external providers such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo! Mail, and carrier emails. The Developer shall not be held liable in the event that the Service becomes unavailable due to specification changes, disruptions, or failures in these external services.

2. Use of Service and Fees

The Service includes both free and paid features.

• Provision of Paid Features: Certain features, such as Dark Mode, Scheduled Sending, and Auto-Save of Attachments, are provided as paid features. Fees and payment methods are subject to the conditions specified within the app or by the app store (e.g., Google Play).

• Cancellation and Refunds: Cancellations of paid plans shall be processed in accordance with the regulations of the respective app store. As a general rule, the Developer will not refund any fees that have already been paid.

3. Disclaimers (Important)

Due to the nature of the Service, the Developer shall not be held responsible for the following matters. Please be aware of these points in advance.

• Uncertainty of Scheduled Sending: The "Scheduled Sending" feature does not guarantee that emails will be successfully sent at the exact specified time. The transmission may be delayed or may fail entirely depending on the communication environment, the device's battery status, or OS background task restrictions (task killing).

• Auto-Sorting and Data Loss: Emails may be moved to unintended folders due to keyword filters or auto-sorting functionalities. Furthermore, the Developer shall provide no compensation for the consumption of device storage capacity caused by the "Auto-Save of Attachments" feature, nor for any data loss resulting from saving failures.

• Security and Damages: Except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Developer, the Developer assumes no liability for any damages arising from the use of the Service, including but not limited to adverse effects on the User's device, information leaks, or unauthorized access by third parties.

4. Prohibited Acts and Other Provisions

In using the Service, Users must not engage in any of the following acts:

• Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals, or acts related to criminal activities.

• Acts that violate the terms of service of external providers, such as the mass sending of spam emails.

• Acts that destroy, disrupt, or interfere with the functionality of the servers or networks of the Service.

• Governing Law and Jurisdiction: The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising in relation to the Service, the [Your Location, e.g., Tokyo] District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.

Privacy Policy

Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how the email management application InboxCleaner (hereinafter referred to as "the App") handles users' personal information. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.
1. Information Collected
The App is designed to work with email accounts from providers such as Gmail and Outlook. Therefore, the App itself does not collect or store any personal information on our servers. The App may temporarily access email data and email addresses from the provider with the user's permission for the following purposes. However, all accessed information is processed and stored locally on the user's device only and is never transmitted to or stored on our servers or any third-party servers. Additionally, in relation to the contact management feature, the App may store users’ email addresses locally on the device. However, the App does not use any proprietary servers, and it is structurally designed so that no user data is ever uploaded to or stored on any servers managed by us.
2. Purpose of Use
Information obtained through registered email accounts is used exclusively for the following purposes:
・ Displaying, sending, receiving, and managing emails
・Providing email search and organization features
・Supporting contact-related functions based on email addresses All processing is performed locally on the user’s device, and we do not collect, store, or use any of this data. 

This app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Please note that the content of your emails is never scanned, analyzed, or used for ad targeting or personalization purposes. 

3. Information Sharing
The App does not share any user information with third parties under any circumstances.
4. Data Protection
This App complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the “Limited Use” requirements. Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0, and any email content or metadata is processed locally and never transmitted to any external servers. The App handles user data in accordance with the security standards provided by each email service provider.
5. User Rights
Since the App does not store any personal information, we cannot provide access to, modify, or delete such information. For data management related to your email account, please refer to the policies and settings provided by your respective email provider.
6. Cookies and TrackingTechnologies
The App does not use cookies or any tracking technologies to monitor user behavior.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as necessary. Any changes will be communicated within the App.
